Always well-admired, this peony draws attention by it's color alone.(Berneche 1924) Lactiflora An ever loved peony, its guard petals are fuschia rose with pale lemon staminodes. These midseason blooming double flowers light up the garden in a raspberry magenta.  Flowers open in a ruffly, free-floating manner. The large six inch blooms face upward with 1 flower per stem.
